Tropic Nevesinje was facing rising electricity costs due to changes in tariff models, as well as a longstanding issue of excessive energy consumption within the facility, without clear insight into where the losses were occurring.

Their main desire was to establish a precise system for monitoring consumption in order to identify “energy leaks” and optimise the operation of the facility’s key systems.  

Our Solution

We installed energy monitoring equipment and identified significant losses in the building’s heating and cooling systems. The HVAC system did not have adequate start/stop settings, and we optimised it's operation. We installed CUES, which delivered a 15% electricity saving in the operation of the cold rooms.
